Code, data model, security, accessibility and the main user flows. They click through the preview like a user and read the changes like the next developer who will maintain them. You get pinned comments and a verdict: approved, or changes requested.
What counts as a message?
Each instruction you send the builder is one message, however much code it changes. Replying to a master and fixing the issues they flag costs nothing.
How long does a review take?
Within 48 hours on Pro, with a median of 6 hours 40 minutes. Studio reviews land within 4 working hours. Starter includes one full review of your first release.
Do I own the code?
Yes. Export the full repository at any time, or connect GitHub and every approved version is pushed there with the review notes in the commit.
Can I edit the code myself?
Yes. Changes made outside Bottega are included in the next review, so the master sees the whole picture and not only what the AI wrote.
What happens when a master rejects a release?
Nothing goes live. The AI works through the comments, the master checks the fixes, and you decide when to deploy.
What can Bottega build?
Web apps, internal tools, client portals, marketplaces, and iOS and Android apps. It is not the right fit for games or device firmware.
